Privacy policy

Last updated: 2026-10-20

Spinkify is an iPhone app for making spin-art cards. This policy describes exactly what the shipped app does with data. In one line: what you make stays on your phone, and the only things that leave it are a device identifier, a push subscription identifier and the app’s version, used for notifications and for checking whether this build is current.

What the app does not collect

No name, email, phone number, contacts, location, photos library contents, camera or microphone. The app asks for permission only to add images and videos to Photos when you tap Save, and it cannot read your library.

Device identifiers

Spinkify uses Apple’s identifier for vendor. It is not linked to your real-world identity, is not used for advertising and changes if you delete every app from the same developer.

Notifications

Push notifications are delivered by OneSignal, Inc. OneSignal stores the push subscription identifier, the device identifier above, the app version, the device model, the iOS version, language and time zone. You can turn notifications off at any time in iOS Settings → Notifications → Spinkify.

Update check

When the app starts, it sends the push subscription identifier (or the device identifier when there is none), the bundle identifier and the app version to our server. The server answers whether this version is current. If it can’t be reached, the app simply opens.

Embedded web content

In rare cases the update check can open a web page inside the app. Like any browser, that page may store cookies or local storage on your device.

Children

Spinkify is rated 4+ and is suitable for everyone, but it is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect data from children.

Retention and deletion

Everything you make is deleted when you use Settings → Reset everything in the app, or when you delete the app. To have the identifiers held by OneSignal or our server removed, email us and we will delete them within 30 days.

International transfers

OneSignal operates in the United States. The update-check server is run by the developer of Spinkify.

Your rights

You can ask what we hold about your install, ask us to delete it, or object to its use. Write to us and we will answer within two business days.
